Baggage Allowance
• Checked Baggage:
Passengers are permitted a baggage allowance of 25 kg for storage in the aircraft hold.
• Hand Baggage:
Passengers are allowed 7 kg for in-flight baggage.
• Excess Baggage:
Additional charges will apply for baggage exceeding the permitted allowance. The fee for extra baggage is:
- $5 per additional kilogram for flights departing from Baghdad International Airport.
- $7 per additional kilogram for flights departing from other airports.
Liquid Substances in Hand Baggage
• Passengers may carry liquids, gels, pastes, and sprays in their hand baggage, provided each container does not exceed 100 ml.
• Containers larger than 100 ml are not permitted, even if partially filled.
• All liquid containers must be placed in a transparent, re-sealable bag for inspection.
• Airport security personnel may request passengers to present the transparent bag separately for review.
• Exceptions: Baby food and medications are exempt from these restrictions. However, passengers may be required to provide a valid prescription for medications carried on board.
Important Information:
Check-In and Boarding:
• Check-In Counter Closure: The check-in counter closes one hour prior to the scheduled flight departure time as indicated on the ticket. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least three hours before departure to complete check-in procedures and baggage handling.
• Boarding Gate Closure: The boarding gate closes 30 minutes before the scheduled take-off time. Passengers must ensure they are at the gate well in advance to avoid missing their flight.
Special Assistance:
• Wheelchair Service: Passengers requiring wheelchair assistance will be charged a fee of $35, payable at the airport check-in counter.
Ticket Policies:
• Unused Tickets (Before 12 Hours of Flight Time): Tickets that remain unused up to 12 hours before the flight departure time are eligible for changes or refunds, subject to applicable charges based on the flight date.
• Unused Tickets (After Flight Date): Tickets that remain unused after the flight departure date are non-changeable and non-refundable.
• Tourism Group Tickets: Tickets issued for tourism groups are non-refundable and non-changeable. For further inquiries regarding reservation details, please contact our Customer Service Department.
